The Postgraduate Certificate in Digital Skills is designed to be delivered on a part-time basis over the period of one academic year. It comprises two modules each of 30 CATS points: Digital Citizenship and A Curriculum Approach to Digital Skills. Digital skills will prepare schools and colleges for the evolving demands of the citizenship and cyber curriculum. It will support teachers and FE practitioners as they develop in this digital decade. The course aims to offer rich digital skills and research-informed strategies for new age educational environments.

The Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Health is an interdisciplinary programme developed in partnership with, healthcare service providers and with clinical experts in the field of digital health. This course is aimed at postgraduate students who wish to enhance their knowledge, competencies, attitudes, and skills within the context of digital health and health care systems. This course will enable graduates to function efficiently as healthcare leaders and innovators within a digitally enabled healthcare environment. The programme was developed and will be delivered by lecturers from the fields of computer and software engineering and nursing and healthcare.

This dynamic interdisciplinary programme between the Department of Nursing and Healthcare and the the Department of Computer and Software Engineering is meeting societal needs and care needs of individuals, families and communities as they evolve. Healthcare providers are challenged by the sophistication of technological, medical and social advancement and with the ever-increasing divergence in social inequalities, presenting healthcare with a new agenda for transformation.
