Online workshop. Issues of poetic craft. How elements of form, music, structure, and content work together to create meaning and experience in a poem.

This workshop will provide us with the fundamental keys to understanding poetry and poetic writing. We will base ourselves on the reading and analysis of contemporary reference poets to, at the same time, discover our own voice, its rhythm, its structure, its way of doing and saying itself.

The online Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Creative Writing with a concentration in Poetry degree program is an opportunity for aspiring poets to find inspiration, engagement and creative collaboration with peers and faculty alike. Our specialized program enables you to hone your craft and unleash your imagination, helping you create imagery in verse. While a poetry degree is valuable in and of itself, it can also prepare you for many professional paths.

Have you been writing poetry for some time? An opportunity to discuss work and examine progress in a workshop environment, led by a contemporary poet. Poems will be read and discussed in class.
