His lines of research are: argumentation and logic, philosophy of language and mind, philosophy of science, and social studies of science and technology.

The master's degree in Citizenship and Human Rights: Ethics and Politics offers specific training in ethics, politics and philosophy of law to provide students with the skills to understand and to take decisions regarding human rights and democratic policies, problems related to coexistence in today's multicultural contexts, subjectivity and identity, and the dilemmas encountered in bioethics and biopolitics.

Official inter-university master's degree, coordinated jointly by the universities of Valladolid and Salamanca. Its objective is to provide students with high academic and research standards, which complements the best performance of a professional career and qualify for research work and the completion of a doctoral thesis. It offers students specialized knowledge in four areas or pathways: History of Philosophy and Metaphysics, Moral and Political Philosophy, Aesthetics and Theory of the Arts, and Epistemology, with emphasis on the historical foundations of these disciplines and on a methodological background. The Faculty of Philosophy of the USC has been teaching for more than two decades a doctoral program that, although its name has changed slightly (Current Questions of Philosophy, Philosophy, Philosophy: Current Questions), has as fundamental objectives to train students to research and train students in the various burning questions of contemporary philosophy.
