EUCLID (Pôle Universitaire Euclide | Euclid University), an international intergovernmental organization with university mandate, offers to select students from the general public an external (distance or online) degree program called EUCLID PhD in Islamic Banking and Finance.

The Doctor of Economics degree unites economic analysis with the practical aspects of a business. The program is intended to prepare students for careers in research and teaching in business administration and similar fields of economics.

The doctor of Accounting program objective is to help students develop a conceptual framework and set of skills needed to address issues concerning different accounting alternatives. The program research in accounting considers the creation and use of control, planning, and performance information.

The Doctor of Finance (Ph.D.) objective is to produce high-quality scholars by preparing them for successful academic professions and to help them develop an understanding of the methods used in theoretical modeling and empirical testing. The Finance program core finance areas of study include asset pricing, investments, corporate finance, and financial intermediation.

The Emory PhD Program puts students on the intellectual frontier of the economic discipline by introducing them to the leading-edge theories and techniques. This training allows students to actively investigate research questions of particular interest and importance to them.

The PhD in Biostatistics is founded in theory and application or statistical analysis. The aim is to produce research-oriented scientists who can advance statistical and modeling theory and can interact effectively with scientists in other disciplines to advance knowledge in those fields.

Students who complete the PhD program will gain knowledge in probability, statistical inference, and hypothesis testing, the design and conduct of experimental and epidemiological studies, statistical computation, and data analysis.

The International Development Doctoral (IDV) is dedicated to providing a hybrid doctoral program that encompasses the content and academic rigor of a traditional on-campus program, yet in a flexible delivery format. Our curriculum includes majors and minors in Economic Development, Political Development, Security Studies, and Social/Cultural Development.

The Ph.D. program will produce biostatisticians who can develop a biostatistical methodology that can be utilized to solve problems in public health and the biomedical sciences. In addition, graduates of the Ph.D. program will be prepared to apply biostatistical and epidemiology methodology for the design and analysis of public health and biomedical research investigations. Finally, graduates of the Ph.D. program will be well suited to function as collaborators or team leaders on research projects in the biomedical and public health sciences. The program requires competency in the theory of statistics and probability, in introductory and advanced biostatistical methods and theory, and in fundamentals of epidemiologic study design. The doctoral dissertation will be the culminating experience in the Ph.D. program. Graduates of the doctoral program will have written a doctoral dissertation that focuses on the development of a new methodology or on the innovative application of biostatistical methods to a health sciences research problem. Graduates of the Ph.D. program will be in a position to: Demonstrate an increased level of knowledge and understanding of current statistical theory, methods, and practices in the health sciences. Develop new statistical methods. Design, manage data, analyze and interpret data from a variety of experimental and observational studies. Communicate research findings, including new statistical methods developed, effectively to various audiences in writing and through oral presentation The goals of the Ph.D. program are to train students in the application of appropriate statistical methods for diverse problems in medicine and public health and to provide a solid theoretical foundation for the development and investigation of new statistical methods. In addition to the formal statistical training, students will have adequate flexibility in choosing statistical and non-statistical electives to tailor their curriculum towards a specific application area such as genetics, epidemiology, or environmental health.

The doctoral program in Finance is designed to provide students with a strong course background in economics, statistics, and mathematics. In addition to classes, Goizueta features an extensive program of seminars and workshops at which current research will be presented by Goizueta faculty, faculty at other universities in the Atlanta area and at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, and scholars from universities around the world. Students are expected to attend many of these seminars to gain exposure to ongoing research.

The doctoral program in accounting examines the production and use of information through the lens of theories adapted from the social sciences, especially economics and psychology. The emphasis is on coursework in microeconomics, econometrics, statistics, and doctoral seminars in accounting.
