The Master in Cinema of the School of Arts is advanced training in contemporary cinema, allowing students to develop their creative and technical skills based on individual projects. Students will be able to choose a specific focus of work (whether in “classic” cinema, in an installation project, or in any other form of research). The student will be challenged while being immersed in contemporary artistic thought, challenged to understand different forms of moving images and how cinema can enable reflection and awareness of our constantly evolving world.

You will hone your skills in composition, orchestration, sound design, creative management, artistic entrepreneurship, and finally post-production on the Dolby Atmos spatial sound system, with the benefit of a partnership with DOLBY (website). At the end of each year, you will have the opportunity to record your own creation with a full orchestra, thanks to a unique partnership with the prestigious Orchestre National de Cannes (website), recognized as a National Orchestra in 2022. and mixing music for the screen.

The 2nd cycle in Cinema at UBI is comprehensive and has the general objectives of providing curricular training - both in areas related to theory, history, and aesthetics of cinema, as well as in areas of a more practical nature, such as scriptwriting, writing, the image, the sound or the montage - which allows the student to define, through optional Curricular Units, his own path, according to a critical, creative and reflective conscience.

This Post-Graduation aims to contribute to the development of skills and experiences that better understand and access this growing “creative economy” through three areas considered essential and transversal: Creative Thinking, Design and Advertising.
