This BA course explores the many ways in which the cinematographer participates in the collaborative process of translating screenplays into meaningful and stimulating films. We work in pre-production, on set as well as on color correction as we believe in including the cinematographer on all stages of the filmmaking process. Exercises, workshops, and masterclasses with one of the most renowned names of Polish cinematography. Critical and analytical study of the history and development of cinematography gives our students a solid foundation in the art and craft of their future careers. The aim is to improve and expand the students' technical knowledge and skills using all of the above-mentioned methods of image capture. Cinematography graduates who complete their studies in Poland are in big demand in Europe as well as the North American continent, being hired for commercials, videos as well as big-budget productions. Graduates of the Bachelor's program at the Warsaw Film School have the opportunity to continue their Master's studies at the Los Angeles Film Academy or the New York Film Academy with a $15,000 tuition discount.

The Section of Brass Band Conducting is a substantive unit of the I. J. Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań. It began its activities in 2019 as part of the Conducting major. The impetus for the establishment of the Section was the dynamically developing specialty of brass band conducting, functioning since 2010 at the then Department of Choral Studies. Its graduates serve as conductors of military orchestras in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland, and also conduct various types of brass bands affiliated with local cultural centers.

The first head of the Department of Vocal Studies at the Faculty of Vocal Studies and Acting of the I.J. Paderewski Academy of Music was prof. Irena Winiarska.
