The Music Department provides students a wide range of opportunities to learn music and grow as a performer. Our instructors bring diverse skills and approaches to teaching. Student ensembles at Edmonds College have numerous performance opportunities throughout the academic year.

Design and communications management is a complex process that requires interdisciplinary knowledge and various skills that you can fully master, understand and develop in this study program. We live in a time inspired by technology which faces us with new challenges and requires new ways of dealing with increasingly complex problems.

Performing Public Space (PPS) is committed to understanding how cultural developments can produce meaningful change within our shared spaces, based on the idea that public space exists only when it is socially performed. In a time in which political and social structures are reconsidered heavily, PPS offers a flexible and innovative environment to artistically question, redefine, and reclaim public space in its broadest sense.

The Associate in Arts in Dance degree will prepare students for transfer into a four-year dance major, minor or performing arts program. It can also prepare students for further study in other dance-related fields including performing, dance teaching, choreography, dance science, dance therapy, dance history or dance criticism. Upon completion of the degree students should be proficient in three or more dance technique styles at the intermediate level, have a firm understanding of dance appreciation and music theory, and be competent in creating and performing dance.

The major in Arts and Entertainment Management prepares students to manage and lead the business operations of arts and entertainment organizations. The goal of the program is to prepare students to meet the challenge of offering artistic venues that highlight and present arts programming while ensuring fiscal and organizational success.

San Jose City College offers Associate in Science (AS) degrees and certificate programs emphasizing three major areas in Media Arts: Print Media, Motion Arts, and Web/Interactive Design. The Media Arts program is a unique, interdisciplinary approach to the converging fields of journalism, communication and new media technology. It responds to the need for people skilled in effective communications in all levels of society including industry, education, art and music, and the public arena.

Whether you have your sights set on a future in film or television, advertising, or journalism, be prepared with a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Cinema and Media Arts. You’ll work with state-of-the-art video and design technology to learn what it means to make a story come to life on the screen.

The master’s course Music Therapy is designed for practicing music therapists who want to advance and innovate their musical, clinical and research skills in the creative and international environment that ArtEZ University of the Arts offers.

The Bachelor of Arts Program in Event Management enables students to run, budget and operate real-life events and weddings. It provides students with many career options as it combines a number of business disciplines, such as economics, management, marketing, finance, business communication, business ethics, and many others.

The MA Degree Program in Computer Animation and Visual Effects at RUFA is an artistic specialization course designed to train designers in digital animation and visual effects for film, television, audiovisual productions, and the web to blend digital technology, manual reproduction, cultural know-how, and creative capacity.

Emerson College’s low-residency MFA in Writing for Film and Television teaches you to create scripts across genres, building a professional writing portfolio of original screenplays and pilots. Our faculty consists of filmmakers, producers, screenwriters, and theorists who will mentor and guide you through your online courses. Each semester begins with a six-day residency on our Boston or Los Angeles campus, where you'll participate in workshops, screenings, lectures, and a Master Class with a guest lecturer. This program explores digital audio production, analog and digital recording, live sound engineering, sound design, and other areas of the field. You'll study studio recording and live-sound techniques, acoustics, microphones, mixing boards, signal processing, and digital audio software.

Composition for Film and Theatre is a hybrid course for gutsy, wilful composers. Do you want to become the best composer you can be, from wherever you are in the world? Then this is the course for you! You can take this course either online or on campus in Arnhem; you can even switch between the two every year!

The Master in Business and Event Management provides an overview of different types of events and their specific requirements in terms of operational planning. This course will analyze the motivations and expectations of clients today and the evolving event environment. The students will study concepts and the frameworks relating to planning, decision-making, and operational procedures for venue selection, logistics, budgeting, human resource planning, and service providers. The course breaks down the concept of an event and provides the framework and tools to create value and deliver a successful event experience. At the end of the program, students are required to complete an internship, which will give them practical experience and shape their theoretical knowledge in the industry.
