Our Specialization in Legal Management, is a postgraduate course of 60 hours taught in Panama, provides management tools for the management of firms and legal departments. It is aimed at associates of firms who aspire to be Partners, at Partners who want to know current trends in firm management, Legal Managers, or those who are in charge of In-House Legal Departments and for Firm Administrators and legal office administration personnel. It addresses issues related to internal management, both financial and human, as well as external to clients, applying marketing tools, talent management, and management for proper management.

The Master of Laws is a blended format structured program that combines 3 onsite, one intensive week (two in Panama and one in Miami) every 3 weeks with online courses. Professors from 10 different nationalities, partners of recognized legal firms or consultants, and/ or professors at leading universities such as Stanford University, Georgetown University, ESADE, Catholic University of Chile, among others. The program aims to train lawyers with a business vision. It complements the previous training with current, relevant, and practical content, without the participants having to leave the professional practice, work, or family responsibilities for an academic year. Our Specialization in Law and Finance provides our participants with the necessary tools for their updating and improvement as Corporate and/or Banking Legal Advisor. It delves into the study of banking contracts, the stock market, and derivatives. At the same time, it provides the lawyer with a global vision of the exercise of the Financial System and the Stock Market, enabling him to advise complex international transactions. The financial training of business lawyers is complemented with intensive courses in Corporate Law, Corporate Compliance, and Negotiations.

The UMIP offers graduates of this degree knowledge about the procedures of import, export, and transshipment operations of merchandise in a port terminal; the legal aspects that regulate national port institutions, as well as the basic principles in the planning, organization, direction, control, and costing in the services of the port industry. The Master in Port Planning and Management is aimed at professionals or graduates who carry out their careers in the logistics, maritime, and port sectors, who wish to specialize in tasks of Maritime Port Management in Transport Systems and Infrastructure in the maritime field.

The Bachelor's degree in Law and Political Science takes four years and four months. It consists of a total of seventy-two (72) subjects, which accumulate two hundred and fourteen credits (214). The curricular structure of the Bachelor's Degree in Law and Political Science is designed to train the modern lawyer who can face the challenges of the future. This professional has a solid base of knowledge and legal practice, not exclusively in Panamanian law, but in international law, in its public and private aspects.
