The aim of this programme is to provide optometrists with the opportunity to undertake a challenging and rewarding Masters in Clinical Optometry that focuses on their personal development as professionals leading, managing and developing ophthalmic practice roles and models of care delivery.

This 3+4 pathway allows you to earn both a Bachelor of Science in Premedical Health Studies (BS) and a Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from MCPHS in seven years instead of the traditional eight.

The professional Master's programme Optometry (Clinical) offers multidisciplinary studies based on visual science and contemporary primary vision care. The study program has been developed based on more than 25 years of experience in the training of optometrists at the University of Latvia.

The primary purpose of this qualification is to provide qualifying students with the ability to perform visual examinations and relevant procedures included in the scope of Optometry (as stipulated by the Professional Board of Optometry and Dispensing Opticians) in the clinical environment as an optometrist.

The Masters of Optometry Program at JMC was established 16 years ago. The Optometry Department was established 28 years ago and has been leading the field of optometric education in both undergraduate and graduate studies. Jerusalem Multidisciplinary College, formerly Hadassah College has vast experience running online, in-person, and hybrid international courses with world-renowned lecturers worldwide.

The main objective of the master's degree is to provide students with advanced training in optometry and vision.

The Master’s Degree in Optometry and Vision Science aims to provide innovative knowledge through educational activities on technologies and materials, optometry and the mechanisms of vision, data analysis and the scientific method. In the fields of optics, optometry and ophthalmology, we are witnessing a rapid evolution in the instruments, devices and technologies used.

This University Master's Degree is a project in the areas of Ophthalmology and Optometry of the Universidad de Murcia whose purpose is the specialized training of opticians-optometrists in the healthcare tasks of these professionals in the Hospital Ophthalmology Services. At the end of this professionalization Master, the student will be able to collaborate with the ophthalmologist in any level of visual health care. The Master is practically carried out entirely in the Ophthalmology Service of the Reina Sofía University General Hospital, and the teaching system is based mainly on student rotations for the different specialized consultations of the Service, making training eminently practical. .

The primary purpose of this qualification is to provide qualifying students with the ability to: Perform independent original and creative scientific research; Contribute significant knowledge to and insight into optometry as well as the specific discipline of research; Display skills in related research methodologies and in proper formulation through a doctoral dissertation; Reflect upon decision-making, self-directedness, and contributions to optometric science; Only a Research Doctorate can be done.

The Official Master's Degree in Visual Rehabilitation arises as a response to the need for training in the socio-healthcare field for those students and professionals who participate in the process of integration of people with low vision or visual impairment. The integration, adaptation and social inclusion of these people can only be understood from the point of view of a social-health institution that has an interdisciplinary team of professionals capable of attending and solving, with excellent qualifications, the health and social demands and the needs of this group of patients.
