Whether a candidate is an aspiring or a practicing investment professional the programme is designed to cover the fundamentals of investment tools, company valuation and portfolio management.

The Bachelor of Science in Health and Safety Management provides a flexible, relevant, and current curriculum that includes opportunities for students to gain knowledge in health and safety theory and practice, which are necessary in order to function at a professional level within the modern workplace. The curriculum demonstrates a combination of technical and managerial aspects necessary to design, develop and implement health and safety management systems whilst considering environmental impacts and aspects.

The student should complete the coursework requirements specified in the degree plan with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00. For the thesis, the candidate is required to conduct the necessary literature review, undertake the research, analyze the results, write the report and communicate the results at an oral defense. This work need not necessarily be original research but should be a new application of ideas. The student should identify the research problem in consultation with the supervisor, which normally takes place in the second semester. The student should or can register for the thesis in the third semester after having completed at least 12 credits of the course work.

The Department of Art Education in the College of Education at Sultan Qaboos University was established in 1991 to meet the increasing needs in the field of art education at various educational levels, and to cope with the growth of education in the Sultanate. 17 batches have graduated between 1991 and 2011.The College of Education at Sultan Qaboos University is the only educational institution to offer this specialization among other teacher training colleges in the Sultanate.

This BEng Energy Engineering is underpinned by “Sustainability” and “Technology” where the curriculum is designed systematically to provide students with a broad understanding of sustainability in various aspects related to Energy and particularly on decarbonizing the Energy sector. In addition, the aim is to provide students with state of the are Technology required for the 4IR where digitalization and Artificial Intelligence are the major part of the Energy industry to improve efficiency and develop new renewables and their applications such as electric vehicles.
