The Master of Business (MBus) in Tourism at the University of Otago is a postgraduate degree designed to deepen your understanding of tourism as a business discipline within a global context.

We have been "doing" formal environmental management for over 40 years. During that period, techniques and practices for environmental management have evolved to address the complex process of balancing human needs and ecosystem integrity at global and local scales.

On completion of the Global Diploma in Professional Cookery and the associated industry hours, the holder can be awarded the Worldchef Certified Commis Chef badge. This means they are a professional cook who has experience of working in a food service operation. They are part of a kitchen brigade and responsible for performing a variety of cooking and baking tasks, under the supervision of a professional chef.

On completion of the Advanced Global Diploma in Professional Cookery and the associated industry hours, the holder can be awarded the Worldchef Certified Chef de Partie badge. This means they are an experienced professional chef working under the direction of a sous chef or a head chef. Within this role the individual is responsible for operating one or more designated sections in the kitchen, such as grill, sauce section, larder and/or pastry section.

The Trinity Cert TESOL is a qualification suited to those wishing to teach English as a second language, but possess little or no experience in doing so.
