MSc in Modeling of Neuronal and Cognitive Systems. Mod4neuCog is a two-year interdisciplinary master's program, that aims to train active researchers at the crossroads of computer science, applied mathematics, and cognitive neuroscience. We encourage students with a background in computer science, mathematics, cognitive science, psychology, or neuroscience to apply to our program, where they will learn to model cognitive functions using mathematical and computational tools.

This course combines a theoretical framework with a dominant practical component for the central theme of Neuroscience Applied to Consumption, thus allowing each student to identify the potential of behavioral analysis, psychophysiological and electrophysiological data, applied to the context of consumption or interaction with individuals of consumption. The course comes with a dynamic and innovative engine to be integrated into existing practices in companies, and combined with more traditional market studies, the course content will be complementary and will motivate structural changes in companies and partners. It aims to show participants the importance of applying neuroscience in the context of business strategy, product creation, pricing strategy, distribution and communication. With this course, trainees will change their state of mind regarding the strategic interventions to be applied in companies, they will understand the importance of identifying and reacting to stimuli, and then adapt and create products, campaigns, prices, websites or packaging capable of involving your customers.

The Cognitive Neuroscience and Behavioral are an emerging area of knowledge that has as its object the biological basis of cognition and behavior, focusing in particular on the role of the nervous system in these psychological processes. It involves articulation between a solid domain of Psychology, namely in the scope of the study of cognitive and emotional processes, a clear understanding of the organization and functioning of the nervous system, as well as of the fundamental principles and concepts of Biology. Due to the multiplicity of knowledge involved, this study plan has an interdisciplinary character, integrating Neuroscience concepts, theories, and techniques with knowledge and theories that emerge from Psychology and Biology.
