The Cognitive Neuroscience Master’s programme at Radboud University is unique in the world because of its multidisciplinary approach. Psychologists, physicists, biologists, mathematicians, linguists and medical professionals work side by side.

The MSc in Behavioral and Cognitive Neurosciences (Research) offers integrated teaching by top researchers from three faculties in small groups, and students collaborate in stable cohorts during the 2 years. We also provide excellent research facilities including University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG), NeuroImaging Center, and Center for Life Sciences. More than 75% of our students enroll in Ph.D. projects after graduation, and our program was awarded the 'Top Rated Program' label (Keuzegids Masters 2017).

The Research Master Cognitive and Clinical Neuroscience: Fundamental Neuroscience gathers knowledge from different neuroscience disciplines to study how the brain functions. It provides theoretical background and practical experience in research at the interface between psychology and biology.

In addition, you will learn to apply theories and methods from cognitive neuroscience to real-world scenarios: economic decision making, education, marketing, clinical practice, policymaking, etc. During the master's, you will combine your scientific knowledge and your creativity to develop your own project that brings cognitive neuroscience from the lab into the world.

This two-week-long summer school aims to provide a comprehensive, interdisciplinary understanding of neurodegenerative diseases, blending scientific rigour with practical applications. By engaging with cutting-edge research, real-world case studies and practical lab tours, participants will gain invaluable insights into the complexities of neurodegenerative diseases, preparing them to contribute meaningfully to care and research. In addition, students will obtain valuable skills in critical and constructive thinking. Also, students will learn how to translate obtained knowledge and ideas into a high-quality presentation with students from various backgrounds.

Non-invasive brain stimulation (NIBS) is a powerful tool which can be used to ask questions about cause-and-effect relationships in the brain of healthy and pathological populations. It can also be used as a treatment in various psychiatric and neurological conditions.

The Bachelor Brain Science studies it from different perspectives, combining knowledge of Psychology, Biology and Computational Science to create a complete picture of the brain. It will train you to become a well-rounded scientist with a transdisciplinary perspective on the human brain.

You'll study the mechanisms that underlie psychological processes, as well as psychiatric and neurological disorders.
