The mission of the Postgraduate Program "Cell and Gene Therapies" is to provide excellent postgraduate-level education and specialization to scientists. The aim is to enable them to adopt and respond to new challenges presented by technological advancements in medical science. This involves a focus on personalized medicine and the integration of automation technology in cell and gene therapies, which are rapidly expanding worldwide.

The BSc (Hons) Biomedical Sciences combines theory with practice and clinical training. It educates students in understanding, diagnosing, and treating diseases. Biomedical Scientists staff modern hospital laboratories, carrying out complex research techniques and providing information required.

The Department of Biology of the Faculty of Sciences and Technological Sciences of the University of Crete and the Hellenic Center for Marine Research of Crete (EL.KE.TH.E.) organize and operate the Inter-Institutional Postgraduate Program (DEP) in Environmental Biology ( No. ΦΕΚ 1789 / 21-05-18 ).

ARCHMAT aims is to provide students with specialized skills in archaeology and analytical characterization of materials from prehistory(Megalithic) to classical times (Greek and Roman). The study and conservation of Cultural Heritage materials is a research area with a strong multidisciplinary connotation and requires skills that span across the Humanities and Science research fields. ARCHMAT provides a common, integrated platform for excellent students coming from either Science or Humanities educational backgrounds to understand the advanced scientific methods used to investigate archaeological materials and aims to form highly specialized professional experts in the emerging field of Archaeometry, i.e Physico-Chemical Sciences applied to the study of Archaeological and Cultural Heritage materials.

The Department of Physics at the University of Crete organizes an annual postgraduate program lasting one year, which leads to the acquisition of a Postgraduate Diploma of Specialization in “Advanced Physics”. Graduates of the program can apply and, if accepted, continue their studies for another 3 years in order to obtain a Doctoral Diploma in one of the offered specializations.

The Department of Computer Science of DEI College aims to familiarize and educate students with the basic theoretical and practical principles of computers. Through a frequently updated curriculum and closely following technological developments, the students of the program have a direct connection to the needs of the job market. The Bachelor of Computer Science degree is designed to help students understand the role of computer systems and information systems in modern business. Particular emphasis is placed on software engineering, artificial intelligence, digital media and multimedia technology, databases, security and cryptography, web development, and web programming.

Η Σχολή Εφαρμοσμένων Μαθηματικών και Φυσικών Επιστημών, ως συντονίζουσα, με επισπεύδοντα Τομέα, των Τομέα μαθηματικών και οι Σχολές Μηχανολόγων Μηχανικών και Ναυπηγών Μηχανολόγων Μηχανικών του Ε.Μ.Π. οργανώνουν και λειτουργούν το παρόν Διατμηματικό Πρόγραμμα Μεταπτυχιακών Σπουδών, το οποίο οδηγεί στην απόκτηση ενός Μεταπτυχιακού Διπλώματος Ειδίκευσης (Μ.Δ.Ε.).

Το ΔΠΜΣ έχει σαν στόχο την διεπιστημονική εμβάθυνση των διπλωματούχων Μηχανικών του ΕΜΠ ή και άλλων ΑΕΙ της χώρας, ή ισοτίμων της αλλοδαπής και άλλων επιστημόνων, αφενός στη συλλογή, γεωαναφορά, περιγραφή, ερμηνεία και απεικόνιση χωρικών δεδομένων του φυσικού, τεχνικού και κοινωνικοοικονομικού περιβάλλοντος και αφετέρου στην ανάλυση και στο σχεδιασμό του χώρου, με τη χρήση σύγχρονων μεθόδων και τεχνολογιών αιχμής και ιδιαίτερα της πληροφορικής.
