This Master's program aims at enhancing and deepening civil engineers' qualification in the field of anti-seismic security of buildings and facilities during their design and implementation.

The Master program of Genetics and Genomics is delivered by various teaching methods, including lectures, short practical courses, computer-based practicals, seminars, or paper discussions taught by the staff of the Department of Genetics at Sofia University. It is divided into two semesters taught stages, each providing 30 credits, which are followed by the third semester, centered on a degree project in a laboratory setting.

Specialty "Metallurgy" is an engineering specialty that creates highly qualified specialists in the field of development, production and application of metals and alloys. The integration of modern information technologies and computer technology in metallurgical technologies builds a new type of multifunctional engineering staff with prospects for occupying some of the highest paid jobs.

Acquisition of knowledge, development of skills and acquisition of competencies for research, development, testing, design, engineering, organizational, managerial and senior management activities in the field of hydrochemical regimes and corrosion of materials in nuclear power plants II- III generation, as well as research and development for the regimes and degradation of materials in nuclear power plants IV generation.

The specialized department "Biotechnology" 's mission is to prepare highly competent specialists in industrial biotechnology to develop research and teaching potential and cooperate with universities and other institutions at the national and international level.

The education course is organized in three levels and lasts five years. The first level is aimed at securing fundamental training of future pharmacists. The second level is oriented towards gaining knowledge and acquiring skills specific for the pharmaceutical profession. The education is organized in three profiles – general, clinical and industrial, the choice being made after the sixth semester. Students of both majors study special pharmaceutical and medical subjects. The third level of the study course -practicum- takes place in the X-th semester in public or hospital pharmacies, which are established as training centers. The assessment of this practical work includes written and oral colloquia. For their graduation students in pharmacy are obliged to pass a state final certification examination or to prepare and defend a diploma thesis. The graduates are conferred a “Master” degree and the qualification of “Pharmacist”.
