The full-time study program includes 120 ECTS for a usual duration of 4 semesters and gives the possibility of obtaining a double degree.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is one of the most popular areas in computer science and engineering. AI deals with intelligent behavior, learning, and adaptation in machines, robots, and body-less computer programs. The first AI master in Switzerland is offered in Lugano, profiting from the competences of the Faculty of Informatics and the Swiss AI Lab, IDSIA, Dalle Molle Institute for Artificial Intelligence, a common institute with SUPSI and one of the world's leading research institutes in this field. For example, in 2016, IDSIA got the Swiss Special ICT award for its bio-inspired research activities and one of the ten NVIDIA "Pioneers in AI research" awards.

The MSc in Economics (ME) is an advanced program offered by the Faculty of Economics at the Università della Svizzera Italiana. The goal of the Master is to teach students how to analyze economic problems at the national as well as international level and how to identify the most appropriate policy instruments. In a cordial environment and in close interaction with the Faculty, the students will be equipped with the quantitative methods and the analytical tools necessary for a successful career as a professional economist in the private or public sector. To optimally prepare for different career paths, the students have the option to acquire additional programming skills (minor in data science) or additional tools relevant for public policy analysis (minor in public policy). The master will also drive interested students into a Ph.D program.

The Master in Science, Philosophy and Theology of Religions was activated in 2006 at the FTL as part of the Re.Te Institute. (Religions and Theology), with the aim of training in the knowledge of religions and interreligious dialogue in an increasingly multicultural world. Since 2014, thanks to the collaboration with the USI eLearning Lab (eLab), the Master has also been activated in an online formula. Today this is the only available way of using its courses.

The Master program in Investor Relations and Financial Communication offers students the unique opportunity to acquire an integrated set of competencies, including financial, communicative, legal and language knowledge, which is strong and increasingly required in the financial sector. The financial sector is facing new challenges: people working in such an environment are expected to master, besides a solid financial background, also strong capacities in communicating with clients and investors and a mature awareness of the legal framework in which financial services and products are promoted and transactions are negotiated.

The Master in Marketing and Transformative Economy is not just another Master in Marketing. Its ambition is to offer established marketing wisdom and practice and expand them further. First, the Master brings marketing aims beyond customer satisfaction, to cater to individual and collective well-being. The Master tackles these challenges, by enriching economic thinking with cultural and social understanding. In sum, these substantial innovations provide students with unique, up-to-date knowledge and expertise to make marketing professions transformative for economy and life.

The Master is a two-year (120 ECTS) Double Master's Degree offered jointly by USI - Università della Svizzera italiana and Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and is entirely given in English.
