Built on existing strong minerals exploration MSc programs, TIMREX is a joint master’s degree in mineral exploration with add-on innovation and entrepreneurship skills. The program has a strong emphasis on field activities and the application of innovative exploration techniques and solutions is the specialty of TIMREX among the EIT-Labelled master programs. Intensive fieldwork is expected from the students during the summer period between the first and second years of study. Master in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Specialisation Computational Intelligence and Data Science (MSc) speciality is addressed to candidates interested in knowledge of modern methods of artificial intelligence and, in particular, computational intelligence and its applications, e.g. the analysis of big data and data mining. The proposed subject is closely related to scientific research conducted by the Faculty of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence.

Green Technologies in Chemical Engineering is an MSc programme for those who want to gain fundamental and practical knowledge of modern chemical processes’ development, design, and operation with a particular focus on sustainability. During these studies, students will acquire proficiency in implementing chemical, physical, and biochemical processing of raw materials into useful forms of advanced market products while minimising the environmental burden.

A graduate of management has the skills necessary to manage a small to medium-sized manufacturing/service company as well as units of government administration and local government. At the same time, the students obtain knowledge in the areas of economics, accounting and finance, marketing, and Public Relations, which allows them to independently assess the financial position of a company and take care of its further development while shaping the company’s external image in cooperation with the media.

We deliver comprehensive planning education at the Masters's level, with a particular focus on cities, their territorial environment, and their transformation. Our approach is design-oriented with a solid theoretical background. The issues of urban, regional, and transboundary planning, strategic planning, urban regeneration, new planning tools are also included in the program.

We offer a Master's course in Process Engineering, Environmental Protection for international students. The program provides knowledge on modern technologies of water treatment, wastewater treatment, waste management and utilization. Graduate is able to solve problems related to planning, designing and control of technological processes, supervision and operation of installations for water and wastewater treatment as well as disposal and management of municipal and industrial wastes, independently or in an international team. In this interdisciplinary course, students will gain knowledge and skills in the area of advanced material science with a special focus on materials for medical applications.

Graduates from Nuclear Power Engineering possess a vast knowledge of general mathematics, thermodynamics, mechanics of solids, mechanics of fluids, environment protection, thermal engineering, turbomachinery, conventional and renewable power technologies, and socioeconomics.

A four-semester program and preparation of the final M.Sc. thesis under the guidance of the Faculty supervisor allows students to acquire comprehensive knowledge and qualifications in the area of civil engineering.

Graduates from Power Engineering are prepared for creative work and research within the field of process control in the power industry and in related industries. They can develop techniques of energy conversion and maintain power systems. They can also perform modernization of machines, implement new technologies, as well as establish and manage small enterprises in power energy sectors. Graduates are prepared to undertake Ph.D. studies in power engineering and in other related fields.
