The M.Sc. Program is a 2-year graduate degree that aims to give students a broader and deeper knowledge of contemporary mathematics and to expose them to mathematical research.

The master's program draws on an understanding of physiology, biochemistry, molecular biology, and ecology of the fundamental processes in fruit trees, ornamental plants, flowers, and forest trees. These culminate in the master's thesis, for which the students harness the theoretical tools they acquired in order to explore problems rooted in the practical needs of agriculture and forestry both in Israel and globally.

The Faculty of Biology offers graduate study programs for Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees. These programs are intended for students who already have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Life Sciences, or a bachelor’s or master’s degree in another scientific field or Engineering, although in the latter case, some additional courses may be required.

The MSc in Brain Sciences provides comprehensive multidisciplinary training with hands-on research experience in brain studies. The Center offers a wide variety of laboratories that use advanced research technologies and engages in basic brain science, as well as in clinical trials. Graduates of the MSc program in Brain Sciences are prepared to spearhead research in academia, the industry, and clinical environments.

Research in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering is conducted by 19 senior faculty members, seven professors emeriti, 18 research associates, between five and 10 post-doctorates, about 40 Ph.D. students, and about six MSc students.

Each year, about 30 Master students begin their studies in the M.Sc program at the Racah Institute. The purpose of the master's program is to further develop knowledge and skills in physics and to prepare students for a professional career or doctoral studies. The program spans two years during which students take various advanced courses and carry out forefront research in the departments of Physics and Applied Physics.

Master’s Degree in Chemistry is, essentially, a passage between the Bachelor’s degree, based mainly on the rigorous curriculum of introductory (theoretical and practical) courses, and the Doctoral studies, based mostly on independent research. As such, this program introduces for the first time the methods and techniques of scientific research in a particular area of Chemistry via undertaking a novel research project under the supervision of a faculty member from the Institute of Chemistry.

The purpose of graduate studies in physics is to shape outstanding students into independent researchers, ready to take leadership roles in academia and industry. The goal of Department of Industrial Engineering and Management (IEM) at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev is to lead in applied and theoretical research both in Israel and Abroad, to provide top education for students, and to serve the community in the various IEM domains. The international Master of Science in Plant Sciences prepares students to become leading professionals in the present and future agriculture and adapt their new knowledge to local conditions in their home countries. Students will acquire advanced knowledge and skills in the scientific basis and principles of crop plant production, the environmental impact of agricultural activity, analysis of specific cropping systems, seeking solutions to practical problems, either in the scientific literature or by an experimental approach, and adapting appropriate solutions to various situations.

This two-year program taught entirely in English, offers tracks in electro-optics, nano and microelectronics, data science and information technology (signal processing, communications, computer engineering), and bioengineering.
