The Master of International Relations (MS) program objective is to allow students to address both research and policy issues between theory, research creating a foundation in high-level decision making responsibilities and critical thinking skills that can result in greater financial benefits. Aiming to develop the ability to analyse issues and debates, as well as an understanding of the contexts and analytical frameworks within which MSc International Relations operates, this programme imparts knowledge and practical skills for career and life. It examines perspectives deployed in the analysis of institutions and processes, key approaches to research as well as the context of practices and processes in International Relations.

The MSc in International Relations, Strategy, and Security aims at providing students with a broad assessment of contemporary international relations, with emphasis on strategy and security issues. It combines in-depth academic training in key concepts, theories, and case studies, alongside a structured process of engagement with contemporary debates and experience. It integrates theoretical approaches with the study of many cases and issues.

The skills-based MS in International Relations and Business curriculum is designed to promote an advanced understanding of how the global economy, policy environment, and business strategy function collectively.

In cooperation with EUCLID (Pôle Universitaire Euclide | Euclid University), an international intergovernmental organization with a university mandate, EULER offers to intergovernmental and national civil servants (as well as select students from the general public) a specialized external degree program called the EULER Online Master in Climate Change (MCC) under the International Relations and Global Development major field. This field of study or specialization covers the full scope of climate-related issues from a policy and education perspective.

The MSc Global Corporations and Policy (GCP) programme specifically addresses the requirements of those seeking a comprehensive theoretical and practical understanding of the role and dynamics of large corporations in the global economy and international affairs.

Seton Hall’s School of Diplomacy and International Relations has partnered with the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) in Geneva to offer this Online Executive Master of Science in International Affairs and Diplomatic Practice program. The degree is designed for mid-career professionals who seek to develop additional skills or credentials to move ahead in their careers. Practitioners will explore contemporary diplomacy against the changing nature of world politics and investigate the complexities of relationships between different countries. Through a series of seven courses and six modules, students will build upon their knowledge and skills in international security, policy analysis, negotiation and conflict management, and monitoring and evaluation, while developing a functional and/or regional specialty.

The only Master's degree program in diplomacy organized by an international intergovernmental organization and officially used by active diplomats over 4 continents, counting among its students and alumni officials at the minister, ambassador, and diplomatic counselor levels.
