5 Healthcare Communication MSc Degree Programs

DCU’s MSc in Science and Health Communication equips graduates to tackle global challenges by making science accessible and engaging. Founded in 1996, it welcomes STEM and humanities professionals, offering expertise in public engagement, health policy, and communication across diverse platforms and sectors.

The MSc in Communication, Management and Health is offered by the Institute of Communication and Health of USI's Faculty of Communication situated in Lugano - Switzerland. This full-time study program comprises 120 ECTS spread over 4 semesters (usual duration 2 years) and is entirely offered in English.

The MS degree in health care interpretation is designed to meet the demand for nationally-certified sign language interpreters who wish to work in health care environments.

The Master in “Cognitive Psychology in Health Communication”, jointly offered by the Faculty of Biomedical Sciences of the Università della Svizzera italiana (USI) and the Faculty of Psychology of Vita-Salute San Raffaele University of Milan (UNISR), presents a Master degree programme in cognitive psychology with interdisciplinary training in psychology, neuroscience, health communication, organizational behaviour and management.

The MScR Science Communication, Public Engagement, and Informal Learning provide a tailored opportunity for students pursuing a PhD in Science Communication or those seeking a more research-focused master's degree. You will gain a critical understanding of contemporary science communication practices, global and local challenges, and areas for research. You will complete formal, academic courses in research skills for science communication and complete a four-month dissertation enabling you to conduct research in a science communication topic of your choice.
