Drug Discovery and Development (DDD) is a program focused on all aspects of identifying and introducing new medicines. Its mission is to deliver high-level specialists, equipped with a highly applied scientific basis for discovery and development of novel pharmacotherapeutics, combined with focused, real-life practical skills. This degree provides a solid grounding in pharmaceutical sciences, together with an opportunity to specialize in a particular drug discovery and development area.

Medicinal chemistry is a scientific discipline at the intersection of chemistry and computational science, connected with designing, synthesizing, and developing new pharmaceuticals. In the beginning, medicinal chemistry was involved in screening natural sources like plants or animals for bioactive compounds. Now, natural products serve as the lead structures in the synthesis and development of new chemical entities dedicated for therapeutic use.

The Faculty of Health Sciences of the Kujawy University in Włocławek will prepare you for the profession at a very high level. The Faculty of Health Sciences continues the rich tradition of educating nurses in Włocławek. It was initiated 52 years ago - in 1961.

Contemporary Polish nursing is in a period of dynamic development. The professional role of a nurse is changing along with changes in social life and expectations towards healthcare.

This course is intended for those who feel the need to help others, who easily establish friendly relationships with people, and can show kindness and gentleness. Students obtain knowledge in the area of natural sciences, social sciences, and practical skills in kinesitherapy, massage, physical therapy, and clinical physiotherapy. The course also includes practical placement in hospitals.

The course has been created for students interested in the functioning of the brain and the nervous system. Neurobiology is one of the most dynamically developing interdisciplinary courses. The course is run in co-operation with three Poznań universities: Poznań University School of Physical Education, Adam Mickiewicz University, and University of Life Sciences.
