Theory and History of Psychology is a very special program, that gives you the tools to see beyond the discipline's present horizons (requiring a background in Psychology). It is run by a group of specialists in the Theory and History of Psychology, and it is unique in Europe, we know of only three such English-speaking graduate programs in the world.

What causes disease? What is the (epi)genetic background of disorders? How do microorganisms in the intestine contribute to health and disease? What are the underlying mechanisms of diseases and what novel strategies can be designed to cure disease? During the Master's degree program in Biomedical Sciences, you will be trained to find answers to these questions.

The focus of the MSc in Psychology: Applied Social Psychology is on the theory and application of psychology to manage real-life problems. We provide an international approach, with international and staff experts tuition from professionals in the field, and you will have the freedom to choose your own area of specialization. Molecular Medicine and Innovative Treatment is a research-oriented selective two-year master's program. The two-year Master's programme is meant for students who are fascinated by the complexity of human movement. You will study human movement from multiple perspectives, using theories from Medicine, Biology, Mathematics and Behavioural Sciences. In this programme, you will acquire an advanced theoretical understanding of human movement. You will also gain research skills and professional skills, learning to apply your knowledge in a practical setting. The programme has two central themes. In 'motor function and cognition in healthy ageing,' you will explore how physical activity and innovative solutions can prevent chronic diseases, and preserve cognitive function. You will also study slow ageing. In 'rehabilitation and functional recovery' you will improve your understanding of impaired movement and the restoration of functioning in rehabilitation practices.

Clinical neuropsychology is a specialty discipline within psychology that is focused on the associations between the brain and neuropsychological functions, including cognition, emotion, and behavior. Clinical neuropsychology is particularly interested in the effects of brain disorders and other clinical conditions affecting the brain on these functions.
