The Master of Science (M.Sc.) program in the Faculty of Health Sciences offers majors in Addictions Counselling, Health Sciences, ​and Nursing. Based on a cohort model, this program is designed to satisfy the needs of students interested in pursuing a master’s degree in a health-related area.

Graduates of this program earn a Master of Science in Foods & Nutrition degree and complete a practicum, which is recognized by the Accreditation Canada, preparing students to write the Canadian Dietetic Registration Examination (CDRE), which is required to become a Registered Dietitian in Canada.

Occupational therapy is a dynamic, internationally-recognized health profession concerned with enabling occupation to promote health, well-being, social inclusion, and social justice at the individual, family, community, and societal levels. You'll have the opportunity to start conducting research with a faculty adviser in your first year.
