This specialty considers health technologies from the system point of view and based on multi-scales and multi-physical problems resolution approaches. The future health devices will link miniature electronic components with mechanical elements of the micro-, or even nano-scale, and with biological elements. This multidisciplinary, multi-scale, and multi-physical approach, at odds with the health technological tools of today, is the core of this specialization course.

The specialty covers the software aspects of autonomous technological systems, which constitute the so-called System of Systems (SoS), and interact with each other.

The Master’s degree specialty ‘User Experience Design "(UxD) is a combination of design, computer science, and social sciences.

The Mechatronic systems and advanced mechanics (SMA) program concern students in mechanics who want to open their mind to systems engineering, and to be able to integrate different physics or technologies, as well as students in mechatronics who want to increase their knowledge in optimisation and multidisciplinary simulation techniques.
