MESPOM is an Erasmus+; Erasmus Mundus Joint Master's Degree in Environmental Sciences, Policy and Management operated by four leading European and two North American universities. The students study in at least three out of six consortium universities and are awarded a joint degree upon completion. Bringing together the best from the excellent partner institutions and offering on-site insight into multiple cultures with diverse environmental regimes, MESPOM prepares students for identifying and implementing solutions to complex environmental sustainability challenges, especially in an international context. The multifaceted educational journey also creates a unique platform for the vibrant alumni network that characterises this programme.

The Master Programme in Applied Computational Science with a specialisation in Environmental Science will give you detailed knowledge about the underlying methods with respect to environmental science. You will learn how to study complex processes in natural sciences, and how Computational Science can contribute to knowledge evolution in society.

This programme presents a multidisciplinary education in the environmental sciences of the high latitudes. Due to accelerated changes, there is a need for experts with multidisciplinary training. The programme is a joint Nordic master of Agricultural University of Iceland with Lund University and the University of Helsinki, and students will graduate from two universities. The master program includes one semester in Iceland and students will have access to courses and research projects at any of the four additional EnCHiL partners. The curriculum contains a mandatory mobility period of at least one semester.
