The specific training objective of the Research curriculum is: To develop knowledge, abilities, and skills that allow the student to actively participate in research processes to generate new knowledge about the soils of the tropical area.

The Master in Amazon Studies will have the general objective of providing, through research and teaching, scientific bases to create in the country a sense of belonging and responsibility to the Amazon region as part of the national territory and to promote the integration and border development of the countries of the Amazon basin.

To develop in students the ability to formulate interdisciplinary approaches to the study, analysis, and modeling of biological phenomena through creative solutions to problems in the different areas of Bioinformatics.
