The "Monarchy of Spain" constituted the most formidable organization of power in Europe in the 16th and 18th centuries. This interuniversity master's degree aims to delve, with a revisionist approach, into the singularity of the power structure that was the "Monarchy of Spain", through the analysis of the political culture that fed that monarchical notion, of the policy of dynastic aggrandizement and its conflicts, and religion informing culture.

The Postgraduate Diploma in Arts (PGDipArts) requires two semesters of full-time study. It entails a structured Program of postgraduate coursework and, in some instances, a piece of supervised research that counts for one or two of the required papers. The normal admission requirement is a completed Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in the major of the proposed Program.

The practical and research activities of the bachelor of history are aimed at studying the history of the Fatherland and world civilizations, domestic and foreign historiography, source studies, theory and research methodology with the aim of a professional understanding of the socio-cultural and political conditions for the development of the modern world, identifying sustainable trends in historical dynamics, forecasting the future.
