2 Medicine and Health Sciences Degree Programs in Malawi

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Health Management is introduced targeting individuals in both the private and public health sectors and aims at equipping senior health managers and health administrators with leadership skills and competencies that will enable them to manage their private sector businesses, or public national, regional, district and local health systems and institutions successfully.

This programme aims to equip students with integrative thinking combining intuition, analytical reasoning and imagination, and link it with transformational leadership capabilities including a systems approach for them to become successful leaders in public health. The curriculum is designed to help students develop key knowledge, competencies and capabilities integrating a range of perspectives relevant to the public health system in which they will be operating.
