Imaging is cooperating with other basic medicine disciplines very closely. The absolvent of the doctor studying program imaging science in medicine acquires the scientific erudition based on the combination of theoretical study, clinical practice, and scientific work in the concrete scientific-research assignment. The theoretical part of the study includes the whole range of the discipline (the insolvent reaches detailed knowledge of the problems related to the dissertation work and knowledge of the other parts of radiology on the level of the specialization examination at a minimum). Theoretical education is completed with mandatory and voluntary specialized courses and research fellowships. The clinical part is done at the imaging department according to the topic of the dissertation work. The scientific-research part is based on the solving of the concrete assignment and on the publication of the research results.
