4 Master's Degree Programs in Uruguay

The Master's Degree in Health and Sports Psychology is a new academic program that offers different health professionals the possibility of working in the field of physical activity, whether in sports or in promoting physical exercise. Likewise, this proposal is aimed at providing useful elements of psychology for other university professionals linked to physical activity and sport within the framework of health.

The purpose of the Master in High Performance in Team Sports is to train specialists who acquire a specific work methodology for training in team sports, know and use tools related to planning, control, and evaluation of training in this type of sports, and experience practical situations in which the model developed in the theoretical contents is applied.

The Master of Public Policy is part of a long and rich tradition of international programs in Public Policy (MPP) and Public Administration (MPA), which train professionals to perform functions in government, public administration, companies, and social organizations. It offers training in skills such as microeconomics, macroeconomics, strategic management, methodology, statistics, spatial and network analysis, project formulation, and evaluation. Likewise, it offers the possibility of specialization in methodology for the analysis of public policies; social and educational policies; territorial and urban planning; State, market, and the third sector. The program is aimed at professionals already inserted in the public administration, in social organizations, and in international organizations, as well as those who are starting their professional career and wish to improve their possibilities of insertion or intend to continue later doctoral studies in public policy, sociology, economics or political science.

The Program combines elements of training in theory and research, in order to enable graduates, depending on the case, the work of teaching, management, administration, and analysis of the working conditions of higher education, as well as in space of the consultancy. All this aimed at strengthening institutional strengthening and reengineering processes, which show a scenario of growing and sustained growth in the country and the region.
