The Medical School of the University of Parma has now decided to develop this European and international vocation opening a novel Medicine & Surgery course, entirely held in English, in the nearby city of Piacenza, which offers a hospital system that is not shared with other medical courses but will be uniquely dedicated to the new medical degree.

The 6-year degree course in Medicine and Surgery is entirely taught in English. From the first year, theoretical interdisciplinary modules are integrated with hands-on experience and simulation activities, and clerkships commence in the third year. 200 places are annually available.

MD Medicine and Surgery provides the scientific basis and the theoretical and practical training essential for the exercise of the medical profession internationally. Students develop all the technical competencies required to operate independently and responsibly in the medical sector.
