General objective Introduce students to the study of Public Safety and its different approaches. Also, understand the the legal method as a set of intellectual and eventually material procedures ordered from according to a rational plan that allows the student to investigate and argue the legal discourse, justify syllogistically its proposals, as well as the origin, nature, and limits of legal knowledge. Specific objectives: - Familiarize the student with the issues of law enforcement and with the strategies that have been carried out in the matter. Likewise, it is intended that the student broadens his vision of the challenges involved in guaranteeing law enforcement in Mexico. - Analyze a more complete vision of the role that each political and social actor in Mexico has in relation to the administration of justice. - Examine the role played by the means of evidence in the administration of justice.

The Center for Social Sciences and Humanities presents the curriculum of the Master's Degree in Social and Humanistic Research, oriented towards the training of researchers, to offer a quality, transdisciplinary and flexible postgraduate option.

General objective The student will be able to identify the main traditions and visions that, from the power structures public, determine the design and content of social development policies in Mexico. Specific objectives: The student will be able to:  Identify the most relevant analysis perspectives on social development.  Analyze the relationship between economic development and social development in development theories.  Understand the relevance of theories of justice to evaluate the different types of policies and social programs.  Acquire the basic conceptual elements to distinguish the implications of the different types of social policies and their economic, political, and legal implications.

The Postgraduate Program in Anthropological Sciences began its academic activities in 1993. It currently has and for several years the accreditation of the National Quality Postgraduate Program granted by the National Council of Science and Technology thanks to the excellence of its academic plant, at the level of its graduates, and the quality of its teaching, research, outreach, preservation, and dissemination of culture. Its general orientation is framed in the social anthropology developed by a robust academic staff made up of professor-researchers who are members of the SNI (National System of Researchers) and visiting professors, both national and international. The study plan is organized around three levels: Specialization, Masters, and Doctorate in Anthropological Sciences. The first two take two years and are schooled; the Doctorate level is completed in four years, oriented towards the development of a theoretical-practical research project. In addition, within the Postgraduate in Anthropological Sciences the Virtual Specialization in Cultural Policies and Cultural Management is also offered, with a duration of one year; Ibero-American outreach program that was created in 2003.

The Colegio de San Luis, AC is a CONACYT Public Research Center. Its objective is to carry out scientific research, teaching, dissemination, and academic extension activities in the field of social sciences and humanities. The Master's Degree in Social Anthropology (MAS) offered by the Anthropological Studies Program (PEA) of El Colegio de San Luis, AC is a postgraduate program aimed at the training of researchers for the generation of anthropological knowledge, the interpretation of sociocultural dynamics, and processes, economic and political. It is a school-based, generational-opening program with a four-semester study plan that requires full-time dedication.

The MASTER'S DEGREE IN BRIEF SYSTEMIC PSYCHOTHERAPY IS THE FIRST PROGRAM of its kind in the city, in Mexico, and in Latin America with more than 30 years investigating effective, brief, and versatile strategies; with the theoretical framework of constructivist systemic optimism and in scientific clinical hypnosis. Clinical tools that generate change through positive motivation, emphasizing strengths and resources. Achievement of effective results in less than 10 sessions with the most frequent cases in the clinical area (children, adolescents, adults, and couples), educational, and business (school and workgroups).

Master in Communication and Cultural Studies is to train teachers in support of communication-based projects in the field of theories of language and social sciences to support solutions to contemporary cultural issues in various areas of society.

The postgraduate course is aimed at training specialists of excellence who are capable of generating original research from Anthropology and with the support of other related disciplines. In addition, it promotes the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and allows the professional to develop skills to train generations of practitioners of the trade and to continue their academic preparation in a doctoral program. The postgraduate program seeks to introduce students to the knowledge of the theory and practice of Anthropology, through participation in courses, research seminars by specialty, carrying out field or archive work, and writing a thesis. It is taught at the Regional Unit of Mexico City.

The Master in Communication of Science and Culture is unique in Mexico, it trains professionals specialized in cultural management, science communication and sociocultural studies. In addition, it is accredited by the National Council of Science and Technology (CONACYT), in the National Quality Postgraduate Program, as a Program at the International Competence Level.

To train Teachers of excellence in the fields of Human Rights, Amparo, and Constitutional Law, with a deep knowledge of legal areas; endowed with a high critical and innovative sense, who recognize the existence of values ​​and ethics as guiding principles of human life, respectful of the rights of their peers and fully qualified to act as protagonists of historical-legal changes, based on a solid conscience and social commitment, for the achievement of the aims and principles of the Law.

The objective of our program is to train experts with solid knowledge and skills in the knowledge of Human Rights and the processes for the effective application of the premises that make possible their fulfillment, for the benefit of individuals, legal entities and the authorities themselves against of others who are victims of abuse of their fundamental rights; that they are capable of providing solutions to problems of interpretation, application and defense of fundamental rights in favor of society; in an agile and transparent manner, facilitating the balance between the offender and the offended with ethics, responsibility and full respect for the block of constitutionality and conventionality that emerged in Mexico as of 2011.

The Master's Degree in Demography offered by CEDUA is a full-time, exclusive-time academic program that is part of CONACYT's National Quality Postgraduate Program (PNPC), with an Internationally Competent category (reference 000256). Its objective is to train human resources trained to understand and analyze demographic dynamics and their economic and social consequences, through a broad knowledge of demographic analysis and the interdisciplinary aspects of population studies. Training of this nature allows graduates to work in university institutions, in national and international organizations, and in the public and private sectors.

The Master in Political Science of the International Institute for Advanced Political Studies "Ignacio Manuel Altamirano", aims to train human resources with professional skills to do studies on political institutions, actors and political and social processes, so that they are able to analyze problems in these fields of political reality and propose alternative solutions from an applied, creative and ethical perspective.
