The Faculty of Journalism and Communication Sciences is one of the most prestigious faculties in the Republic of Moldova and aims to train highly qualified staff for the media sector (print and online press, news agencies, television, radio); training of specialists in communication / public relations, with the necessary professional skills and competences.

The Master of Social Work Program at ULIM was founded in 2012 through a consortium of four universities from Moldova and six from the United States. The curriculum was designed specifically for the social needs and problems of the post-Soviet world yet with generalist global applicability. The latest knowledge of social work education and pedagogical technologies combined with the experience of the international faculty team contributed to the cutting-edge signature curriculum design. At the Free International University of Moldova, students in Management Media, Marketing Online, and Business Communication master program practice the application of innovative digital solutions to strategic communications problems in both traditional and new media businesses. This master program is oriented towards a complex training of specialists in the general field of study 032 Journalism and Information. Students will be immersed in holistic studies of the overall media environment and management strategies with a view to applying the knowledge and skills in media operations. It offers a real possibility for graduates of social and humanities faculties to take a safe step towards adequate professional training, to acquire or to get more knowledge and skills necessary for a future career in the multidimensional sphere of journalism, media processes and social communication.

The master's program is aimed at training specialists in the field of Economic Sciences. The Master's program in Management, Marketing, and Logistics, with a duration of two years (four semesters) and the accumulation of 120 ECTS, is composed of fundamental course units concentrated in the first semester for the development of knowledge skills. The second semester includes course units oriented towards the policies and strategies specific to the master's program. The course units from the third semester are directed towards the implementation of the knowledge-based on the study of the functional and branch specialization modules. During the second year, students are able to customize their studies through increased flexibility and a choice of various elective courses. Students will have to participate in an internship in order to put their learning experience into practice and they will conclude their studies with a research-oriented master thesis.

The study program offers the opportunity of a unique learning experience, in the context of a teacher-student partnership, in accordance with the new perspectives of university education, in a European context. The program benefits from a modern infrastructure, which facilitates the use of a modern methodology in support of interactive learning experiences.

The master's program is oriented to train specialists in the field of information technologies and especially web technologies. It consists of accumulating knowledge and developing skills in creating web applications, optimizing, and securing user data. In this context, the current master's program includes basic and specialized disciplines aimed at training the specialist in web application development.

There are 480 students currently attending classes at faculty, where 320 students are in the full-time education and 160 in part-time education. Over 75% of the students get state funding scholarship. Part-time education studies require tuition fee contracts.

The faculty of Radioelectronics was founded in 1987 on June the 4th – according to the Rector’s order No. 228-/r of June 4, 1987, as a result of division of the Faculty of Electrophysics. In 2013 it was renamed into the Faculty of Engineering and Management in Electronics and Telecommunications (FEMET).

The Master Program Diplomacy, Security, Business, and Communication, provided by specialists and experienced practitioners, is directed towards equipping students with the knowledge and analytical tools, necessary for studying and developing diplomatic strategies, making decisions in political, foreign policy, and security field. Combining a traditional approach to the study of international relations with practical training in the mechanics of contemporary diplomacy and international negotiations, the master program can be completed in four semesters of full-time study. Upon completion of the program, a Master’s degree in Political Sciences is granted.

The master's program is aimed at training specialists in the field of languages applied in tourism and international trade and is intended for graduates of the Bachelor's degree who want to deepen their knowledge and skills previously acquired in the field of translation specialized in tourism and international trade. The program contains fundamental and specialization disciplines (compulsory and optional), in the area of tourism, international trade, and terminology specific to these fields.

The Master program "International and institutional law" aims to train professionals able to apply and explain the national legislation based on the provisions of international and EU law. The Program comes to create master skills in promoting the concept of the primacy of the international and EU law in relation to the national law. Referring to European Union law, its rule is dictated by the Republic of Moldova's aspirations of European integration and of the other countries in the region. For an effective awareness of this subject, the matter is studied not only theoretically, but also on the bases of the national practice of other many states. To achieve the proposed goals, it is studied within the practical lessons the jurisprudence of the international bodies such as the UN International Court of Justice, International Criminal Court, International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, the European Court of Human Rights, the European Court of Justice, etc. Equally, it is analyzed the practice of various international organizations - the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, the International Committee of the Red Cross, the International Organization for Migration.

The Master's Program in Business Management and Entrepreneurship has been designed to allow participants to understand the internationalization of small and medium-sized enterprises, to develop the students' understanding and knowledge of global business environments, strategic management, and innovation as well as customer relationship management in international markets. The master degree program Business Management and Entrepreneurship lasts two years (four semesters) and has 120 ECTS, it is composed of fundamental course unities for the 1st semester in order to develop core knowledge and skills. The 2nd semester has course unities oriented on specific policies and strategies for the master's degree program. The course unities of the 3rd semester are directed to knowledge implementation. During the second year, students are able to customize their studies through increased flexibility and a choice of various elective courses. Students will have to participate in an internship in order to put their learning experience into practice and they will conclude their studies with a research-oriented master thesis.
