The Master’s Degree in Communications Studies program correspondingly ensures the learning of a broad set of competencies and develop skills that enable the student integration into job markets increasingly demand professionals capable of responding effectively to the new demands for content production and the management of internal and/or external information.

The Master of Journalism (MJ) course is a one-year full-time or a two-year part-time course. Students learn the core skills of journalism—reporting and writing, television and video production, media law and ethics, and new media. Students also have the opportunity to take elective courses in a broad range of subjects from business and finance to data journalism to digital media. Candidates shall complete no fewer than 60 and no more than 72 course credits.

In the context of the digital revolution, our Master's in Documentary Photography serves as a convergence point between photography, art, information, and visual communication. This program will let you study and live in at least two European countries. Spend your first year in Denmark at Aarhus University and the Danish School of Media and Journalism. In the second year you can choose to move to either Prague, Amsterdam, London, or Munich. EMJ is about getting hands-on with journalism in different cultural, political, and technological contexts. If you choose the Authoritarianism & Transition track in Prague, you’ll dive deep into the histories and challenges of post-authoritarian societies.
