17 International Cooperation Master's Degree Programs

The Master in Management of Development is offered by the International Training Centre of the ILO under the auspices of the Turin School of Development, in partnership with the University of Turin and with the technical contribution of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).

This joint master's degree ranks in the top 5 programs in Spain on Cooperation and Sustainability, and its multidisciplinary nature is reflected in the variety of its students, both in terms of fields they come from (Social Work, Economics, Sociology, Architecture, Health Sciences, Law) and their countries of origin, being one of our university´s most international programs.

The main objective of the Master in International Development and Cooperation is to provide Master's students with additional skills to those acquired in the first cycle, enabling them to be highly employable as managers, senior managers and technicians of public and private companies, organizations linked to international cooperation.

This Master´s Program is designed to train experts in international development cooperation through a complete program that pays attention to the theoretical and practical dimensions of development cooperation. The general objective of the Master is to provide students with advanced training, of a specialized nature and based on theoretical and instrumental knowledge that will allow them to acquire and develop the necessary skills and abilities to obtain a qualification as a professional in development cooperation.

The Master's degree in International Cooperation on Human Rights and Intercultural Heritage offers a solid interdisciplinary and problem-oriented training to graduate students with diverse backgrounds who plan to work in the field of international cooperation and development.

The Master’s degree in Area and Global Studies for International Cooperation (AGIC) of the University of Turin, Italy, stands for an approach that is global in content, reach, and structure. It combines the study of international cooperation with in-depth, multi- and transdisciplinary-in-character area expertise

The Post-Graduate Program in Cooperation and Development is a full-time program aimed at training professionals in the field of international cooperation through highly qualified academic and professional training. Students are prepared to work in institutions like Non-Governmental Organizations, International Organizations, Governmental Bureaus, Research Centers, other public or private institutions.

The Asia Pacific region and the international community as a whole are facing many urgent issues which need to be addressed in order to ensure equitable development and a livable environment. The social science program offers students a curriculum which is policy-oriented and practical.

The Master in Advanced European and International Studies with a focus on Mediterranean Studies is a unique programme that encourages interdisciplinary Euro-Mediterranean studies, hosted in Nice, Tunis and Istanbul. Students engage deeply with issues of international relations, politics. regional integration, societies and cultures within the Mediterranean context. A study trip to Dakar (Senegal) and Banjul (Gambia) completes the programme. Career Outcomes: Graduates can pursue diverse careers including roles in international organisations, diplomatic services, non-governmental organisations and cultural institutions. This programme equips students for positions that require a solid understanding of Mediterranean political dynamics and international cooperation.

This official degree prepares architects, urban planners and other professionals to develop and rebuild communities affected by the ever-growing impact of climate change, military conflicts, rapid urbanization and economic crises in both developed and developing countries.

The Geopolitics of Agricultural Worlds and Food Security specialization allows students to earn the title of International Strategy Analyst. It invites students to explore the complexity of ensuring our food sovereignty and securing non-food agricultural products.

The master's degree in "Art and Cooperation" is a project-oriented, interdisciplinary degree program and provides differentiated, practice-related knowledge with the aim of sharpening the artistic profile in dealing with a cooperation partner and training students to become active designers in an increasingly networked art field. The graduates develop a mature, independent artistic position and at the same time have profound knowledge of various forms of artistic expression and can apply them in inter-and multidisciplinary contexts. The basis of the course is the individual artistic work, which significantly determines the selection of the cooperation partner as well as the content and form of the cooperation. The students develop and deepen their individual artistic work by dealing with various social, scientific, technical, and artistic-creative contexts (see project areas). In addition, the course imparts application-related skills in the areas of the organization, communication, and mediation of projects as well as the spatial presentation of artistic works. Practical skills in the artistic design and implementation of projects as well as technical skills are also deepened. PROJECT AREAS Cooperations can be located in five project areas (download PDF), which include different areas of knowledge and practice, and each offers different possibilities for the design of cooperations. The project areas serve as an orientation for the conception of cooperations and for the compilation of the individual timetable.

Master's Degree in International Relations and Development Cooperation (RICS) trains participants to become professionals with multidisciplinary skills and high-level operational and analytical skills to work in international, government and non-government organizations, European institutions, Public Administrations and agencies that operate within the national territory and private businesses active in the international markets.

Today's world is entering an era of interdependence. Japan is a part of this system of global cooperation. However, it is also an era of wars, political strife, and many economic and environmental problems that cause disruption of societies' well-being. In order to deal with this complex international environment, there is a need for people trained in international affairs. This faculty hopes to equip people with the understanding of other cultures and languages necessary to meet future challenges. In the future, Japan will continue to be deeply involved with both the West and Asia. Knowledge of the languages and cultures of both these areas will become increasingly important. In response to these future needs, the faculty has attempted to structure its curriculum around the study of these two areas.
