The PPGEM - Graduate Program in Mineral Engineering aims at academic training at Master and Doctorate levels, qualifying graduates in the fundamentals and applications of Mineral Engineering, preparing them for the exercise of activities both in educational institutions and / or research as directly with the production system. The courses are accredited by CAPES. The Master in Mineral Engineering started its activities in March 1998 and the Doctorate in 2015; both provide training in two areas of concentration: Lavra de Minas and Mineral Treatment.
