The UNLV School of Architecture Master of Architecture Degree Program is a NAAB accredited program that offers prospective students two paths of study to the Master of Architecture (M. Arch.) professional degree; a two-year course of study for students possessing a pre-professional undergraduate degree in architecture and a three to a four-year course of study for students whose academic background is outside of architecture. Master of Architecture Program studies emphasizes the opportunities that the University and Southern Nevada settings have to inform and enrich the study of architecture and prepare students for meaningful careers and lifelong success. Centering on critical opportunities for architecture to serve society, the M. Arch. the degree program is organized into three distinct courses of study or concentrations: Building Systems and Sustainability, Hospitality and Entertainment Design, and Education Facilities Research & Design. Each concentration is composed of an interdisciplinary curriculum involving academic programs across the University of Nevada Las Vegas as well as the participation of internationally significant practitioners and researchers. The M. Arch. the degree program is thematically structured to emphasize comprehensive building design during the first year of study and concentration-focused research and design during the second year of study. Concurrent to both years, students enroll in concentration-related electives that inform and give breadth to students’ individual efforts in the final year of the program. The School of Architecture is fortunate to offer students a range of research labs and centers that enhance the graduate experience. These include the Downtown Design Center located in downtown Las Vegas, the SimLab emphasizing modes of fabrication, LIME emphasizing virtual realizations, the NEET Lab emphasizing renewable resources, and the Design-Build program which in its inaugural year competed in the 2013 Solar Decathlon.

The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering & Construction (CEEC) at UNLV offers a number of areas of engineering options leading to the Master of Science in Engineering (MSE) - Civil & Environmental Engineering. Specific areas of engineering that are currently available include Construction, Geotechnical, Structural, Transportation, and Water Resources/ Environmental.

The Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Biological Sciences within the School of Life Sciences (SoLS) consists of four sectional research concentrations that reflect the scope of modern biology: Ecology and Evolutionary Biology (EEB), Integrative Physiology (IP), Cell and Molecular Biology (CMB), and Microbiology (MB). The degree is research centered and requires the defense of a thesis that describes a novel research project that can serve as the basis for the publication of at least one paper in a peer-reviewed journal. The M.S. degree in Biological Sciences prepares students for careers in education, government, and industry as well as preparing them for more advanced degrees in the life sciences. Students must complete a minimum of 30 credit hours from a list of core and approved courses within their section.

The objectives of the Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering (M.S.A.E.) degree are to provide a quality graduate educational program that will complement the existing undergraduate and graduate curricula in mechanical engineering. The aerospace graduate program will improve and enhance the capabilities of those students seeking careers in the aerospace field and supporting engineering work for the aerospace and aviation technology community.

The Master of Arts program in Anthropology trains students broadly in both anthropological theory and method. Students receive a first-rate classroom-based education combined with exceptional opportunities for practical laboratory and field experience. Research skills are developed through designing and completing an original research project. Our curriculum is designed to develop critical thinking, reading, and writing skills to prepare students for a variety of jobs or to continue their academic studies in pursuit of a higher degree.

The Master of Science degree is designed to give post-baccalaureate students a broad understanding of the mechanical engineering field while providing some depth in a specific option area. Option areas include Dynamic Systems and Controls, Fluid and Thermal Sciences, Materials and Mechanics, Engineering Management, Mechanical and Environmental Systems, Nuclear Engineering, and Aerospace Engineering. Applicants who choose the M.S.E. program usually have an interest in more than one aspect of Mechanical Engineering. They are interested in gaining research and/or design experience to become better prepared for the workforce or further graduate study. Graduates from the program have gone to work in a broad range of industries including automotive, aerospace, nuclear, energy, oil, entertainment, HVAC, defense, utilities, and manufacturing.

The Hank Greenspun School of Journalism and Media Studies offers a graduate program leading to a Master of Arts degree. Courses of study are designed to engage research in diverse career arenas such as human resources, politics, advertising, education, public relations, broadcasting, and social services, as well as for students who aspire to continue their education in doctoral programs.

The Master of Design program is a post-professional degree that provides a cross-disciplinary, innovation-focused, and research driven educational experience that is responsive to current and projected modes within the professional design practices. The focus on Health and Wellbeing is explored within environments for children, adults, professional, and senior populations. Student education is enhanced by collaborations with clinical healthcare and social science practitioners, and the ability work with real-life users of the designed environment.

The Roseman University of Health Sciences' Master of Business Administration Program's Mission is to prepare graduates to be competent business professionals, responsible leaders, entrepreneurial managers, and effective communicators.
