The Master’s program in Scenography – Production Design at the Theatre Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (DAMU) is a two-year, English-language course designed for graduates of scenography, architecture, design, or related visual-spatial disciplines.

The Writing for Stage and Screen MA offers you the opportunity to devote a considerable amount of time to write, evolve and reflect on your own creative practices. Today like never before, writers are moving between different media forms and this programme allows you to develop work across diverse platforms. Graduates of the MA in Writing for Stage and Screen are equipped to work in theatre, media, cultural and educational settings, and to further their research into theatre and screen.

The Master’s program in Scenography – Theatre Scenography at the Theatre Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (DAMU) is a two-year, full-time course conducted in English, designed for graduates in scenography, fine arts, architecture, or related disciplines who wish to expand their creative, technical, and conceptual skills in the field of stage design.

Department of Scenography at the Faculty of Architecture and Design consists of five design studios, which conduct an interdisciplinary design and artistic educational work directed at the conscious and responsible shaping of the visual identity of the ‘stage’-the nearest environment. Stage Design and Fashion Design as specializations refer to creating ‘occasional space’ (theatre, TV studio, exhibitions, shows, spectacles, parades etc.).
