The Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) program provides comprehensive insight into communication disorders and their consequences for individuals and society. Within five semesters (Fall, Spring, Summer, Fall, Spring), every graduate student rotates through all six of our practicum sub-clinics in the GW Speech and Hearing Center and completes two externship experiences. Our six specialty tracks include Accent Modification, Acquired Neurological Disorders, Literacy and social Communication Disorders, Hearing Health Care, Pediatric Speech and Language Disorders, and Voice Disorders.

The Masters degree program in Speech-Language Pathology is designed to provide the student with sufficient depth and breadth of academic study and clinical practicum for a professional career in the diagnosis and management of individuals with speech and language disorders.

Pepperdine University’s online Master of Science Program in Speech-Language Pathology is designed to provide you with a theoretical and practical understanding of the principles of speech-language pathology within the framework of a strong clinical emphasis and guided by Pepperdine's Christian Mission. Courses within this program present various aspects of the art and science of speech-language pathology as it is applied to the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of communicative disorders. 

The Master of Science (M.S.) program in Speech-Language Pathology at Thiel College is a Candidate for Accreditation by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA) of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Candidacy is a “pre-accreditation” status with the CAA, awarded to developing or emerging programs for a maximum period of 5 years. The program is designed to accompany our Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Upon completion of your undergraduate studies, you will immediately begin the fifteen-month master's program!

Speech-language pathologists (SLPs) help everyone from infants to aging adults overcome communication disorders. Some SLPs work with children in schools to improve their articulation, language, fluency, or voice. Others provide acute care in hospitals for patients with neurological conditions. Still others assist very young children recovering from cleft palates, feeding disorders, or autism spectrum diagnoses.

The UTS Master of Speech Pathology is a two-year, graduate-entry course. Grounded firmly in the profession with an innovative and practice-based approach, the course enables students to actively participate in learning as they acquire the clinical and professional skills needed to enter the profession of speech pathology.

The MSc in Speech and Language Therapy (Professional Qualification) is offered over two years full-time as a route to qualification for professional practice for applicants who have already attained a degree. The program has approval from the Irish Association of Speech and Language Therapists.

Our MSc Speech and Language Therapy (Pre-Registration) course is an accelerated, two-year postgraduate course aimed at graduates who wish to prepare to practise as a registered speech and language therapist. Our course content reflects the values of the NHS constitution and combines theory and practical sessions over 45 weeks per year.

The Master's Degree in Language and Speech Pathologies enables a multidisciplinary approach to the main language and speech disorders that present neurological, psycho-affective or cognitive etiologies. The students delve into the diagnosis and treatment strategies for each pathology and study aspects related to the anatomy, physiology and dynamics of the central and peripheral nervous system, as well as their relationship with pathological manifestations at the behavioral level.

The study cycle aims to create a Masters of excellence in Speech therapy. The principal aim is to develop advanced competencies in the assessment and intervention of children and adults with speech, language, communication and swallowing disorders. The master has three paths:

NYU Steinhardt’s online master of science in Communicative Sciences and Disorders program provides comprehensive, evidence-based training to committed individuals aspiring to be speech-language pathologists. No GRE required.
