The marine environment and coastal areas are of strategic importance associated with the large number of uses, resources and services they provide. A large part of the activities carried out in these environments can cause environmental impacts on the ecosystems and, on occasions, be a source of conflicts between users. This means that the sustainable management of the marine environment constitutes one of the basic objectives of the European Union to guarantee both environmental sustainability and the competitiveness of the economic activities that are nourished by this environment.

The tourism sector has historically been a pioneer in introducing Information and Communications Technologies (ICT). The comprehensive and integrated application of technologies in tourist destinations leads us to the concept of Tourism Intelligence, understood as the coherent and harmonious interrelation of the basic pillars of tourism development and sustainability, using and taking advantage of ICT. Tourism Intelligence means collecting and taking advantage of the data generated by users to understand their motivations and needs, improve and adjust supply to demand efficiently, but above all to support strategic decision making in a destination and/or tourism company. .

La ingeniería acústica es un área multidisciplinar con una gran demanda de formación específica en diferentes ámbitos: acústica arquitectónica (para aislamiento y acondicionamiento acústico), acústica ambiental (mapas de ruido, planes parciales, ruido industrial en exteriores, ruido de ciclomotores y otros vehículos, licencia de actividades), electroacústica (diseño de cajas de altavoces, megafonía, sonorización y refuerzo sonoro), caracterización de materiales (ultrasonidos, sistemas de onda estacionaria, etc.), instalaciones (aire acondicionado, maquinaria, etc.), seguridad e higiene en el trabajo respecto a protección frente al ruido de los trabajadores, acústica submarina (localización de objetos, comunicación, sónar, etc.).

The Master trains professionals specialized in the final phase of the production process of an audiovisual product, covering in the common audiovisual module the basic subjects in technology, narration, editing and composition both from the point of view of audio and video, to move on to specialize in each branch with a wide range of electives. It is a master's degree with a professional and investigative orientation that is reflected in two different training itineraries. Being able to choose to carry out internships in external entities, or the development of an original research work as a final master's project, allowing the extension of the line of research with a doctoral thesis in the doctoral program of Cultural Industries and Communication of the UPV.

Máster Universitario Erasmus Mundus en Ondas, Acústica, Vibraciones, Ingeniería y Sonido El Máster WAVES (acrónimo de ondas, acústica, vibraciones, ingeniería y sonido) es un máster internacional de dos años de duración, totalmente impartido en inglés, que otorga múltiples títulos de máster nacionales y un suplemento de diploma conjunto con el apoyo del programa Erasmus Mundus de la Unión Europea.

Transmedia storytelling is a type of story where the story unfolds through multiple media and communication platforms. It is one whose stories appear interrelated while maintaining, in turn, narrative independence and complete meaning. It can be understood as a story explained from different perspectives depending on the means of communication used, such as: a book, a comic, a post, a spot, a television series, social networks, virtual and augmented reality, cinema or a videogame. From a production point of view, it requires creating content that engages the public using different techniques. To achieve this, a transmedia production develops stories across different media formats to release unique pieces of content for each channel. It is essential that these pieces of content are open or subtly linked to each other, and that there is a narrative synchrony between them.
