The Master in Conflict and Peace is a master in deepening. Its main objective is to delve into the multiple approaches, theories, concepts, and practices of both violent and non-violent social, political and cultural conflicts; as well as the various experiences of peacebuilding at the national and international level. Although the program is inspired by the Master of Peace Studies at the University of Bradford (England), it has focused on the Colombian context. In this way, it aims to critically explore and analyze the multiple dimensions and interpretations of the Colombian armed conflict and its various sub-conflicts. The Master offers a universal theoretical and philosophical look at the phenomenon of human conflicts and the various efforts to resolve them. It explores the main theories and meta-theories, through the analysis of the diverse, and sometimes contradictory, policies for peace implemented within the framework of the Colombian conflict and other global conflicts.

MCSYD trains researchers from any scientific (social and human and natural) or artistic discipline or profession, with a multidisciplinary approach on the traditions, customs, practices, and cultural and social uses of drugs, in contemporary societies, with emphasis on Latin America. It is based on a process of research work, teaching, and university projection of the research group and network of Colombian and foreign researchers in culture and drugs started in 1992.

The Specialization in Special Justice for Peace of the University Corporation of Sabaneta "Unisabaneta", is based on the need to transform the paradigm of justice and action against crime, which surpasses Ordinary Justice due to the capacity it has to offer alternatives that allow the recognition of the Right of the Victims of the conflict, to their reparation and dignity in the process, to offer truth to society, fight against impunity and offer legal security to the direct or indirect actors of the armed conflict, in such a way that guarantees non-repetition or the achievement of a stable and lasting peace.

The Master's Degree in Human Rights and Transitional Justice aims to train professionals who respond with relevance to the needs of Colombian society in relation to the knowledge of the area of ​​Human Rights and its relationship with the changes in the Transitional Justice processes that are caused and evidenced both in the post-agreement and post-conflict phases. Academic training does not stop in the orbit of the post-agreement and post-conflict but rather it aims to provide tools related to the knowledge of Human Rights, especially to its guarantee during the processes of Transitional Justice, which leads to the study of this type of special justice to understand and articulate its integration within the legal system.
