The MBA Business Administration (Renewable Energy) is part of a suite of MBAs, designed to provide leadership and management skills across the areas of Aviation, Environment, Executive, Renewable Energy and Resilience.

The MBA in Renewable Energy consists of three different levels. In the first level – launching, learners will be exposed to the main tools, theories, models, and concepts about how to manage a modern small and medium-sized enterprise. The second level – deepening covers current topics and emerging theories to prepare learners for future challenges and opportunities. The third level – specializing allows learners to focus on Renewable Energy, including their final master project.

The Master of Renewable Energy (MS) program helps students develop practical skills and knowledge required to critically evaluate alternative energy sources, and provide applied solutions to the energy demand. The major is decidedly interdisciplinary in nature, focusing on the underlying natural processes relating to renewable energy and employing the scientific method.

In our Master of Renewable Energy (MRE) programme, you’ll gain a deep understanding of sustainable energy technologies such as solar, hydroelectric, geothermal, and wind power. Within the MRE, you’ll choose from two learning pathways—one focused on engineering, the other on analysis.

The European Master on Control of Renewable Energy Systems objective of the two-year European Master on COntrol of Renewable Energy Systems programme is to train top-level engineers from across the world on the design of advanced control technologies for renewable energy systems and to contribute to the emergence of a new generation of graduates who are needed to achieve Europe's environmental and energy ambitions under the Green Deal.

Within the rapidly expanding European renewable energy industry, an urgent demand exists for more post-graduate trained staff, specialized in renewable energy technology. EUREC together with leading European Universities involved in renewable energy education and training have responded to this demand through the development of the European Master in Renewable Energy.

MBA Renewables is the first and only distance learning Master of Business Administration focusing on renewable energy technologies and energy efficiency. We offer one intake per year, that starrt with the fall semester in October.

The MSc Renewable and Sustainable Energy programme aims to train future engineers to lead the global energy transformation, by addressing critical challenges relating to climate change, clean growth, and sustainability. The course is delivered in our Faculty of Engineering and Digital Technologies by an interdisciplinary team, including external industry partners. The content is research-engaged, with academic staff providing research expertise in sustainable energy-related areas.

The Master in Renewable Energy in Thermal Systems is oriented towards advanced professional training in thermal energy systems, including renewable energy sources, transformations and energy uses. This is a sector with a very high employability and great social support.

The rapid growth in renewable energy installations will only continue in the coming years. International agreements on subjects like CO2 reduction and European policies on the expansion of renewable energy generation will ensure that. Within this rapidly expanding European renewable energy industry, there is an urgent demand for technical engineers specialised in renewable energy technology. That’s where you come in!

Climate change, growing populations and limited fossil fuel resources mean that demand for renewable energy continues at an ever-increasing rate. Use of renewable resources and the application of renewable energy technologies will play a major role in future energy supply. Renewable energy is now at the heart of every informed discussion concerning energy sustainability, security and affordability. Graduates can expect to go on to a wide range of careers across the industrial and public sector.

This programme gives an overview of the provision and use of energy in the world today but allows the student to specialise in the rapidly expanding area of renewable energy engineering. The programme is aimed at students wishing to develop a critical understanding of the significant changes afoot in the energy sector due to the development and integration of wind, marine, biomass and solar technologies.

A graduate has the knowledge and skills in designing, testing, and operating power plants using non-conventional energy sources in a wide spectrum of degrees of conversion and energy storage methods.

The Master's Degree in Bioenergy Engineering and Energy Sustainability aims to foster a sensitive and rigorously based mentality among students on the general concept of sustainability, developing skills in the areas of environmental protection and sustainable energy management (renewable energies, efficiency, energy saving, etc.). Successful completion of this Master's Degree will allow students to access different professional fields such as management, planning and certification of energy sustainability, or the socio-economic and environmental impacts of bioenergy, with the possibility of integrating other energies in order to guarantee sustainability in the use of bioenergy. The objective of the Master's Degree is to train engineers who are specialists in different professional fields such as management, planning and certification of energy sustainability, as well as in the most innovative technological developments in bioenergy and other renewable energies.

Energy models are changing, and the emerging initiatives are settling upon the pillars of energy efficiency and renewable energies. Therefore, this Master’s program has been designed to integrate the main aspects of energy efficiency and the incorporation of renewable energies in engineering projects such as buildings and installations for fossil source replacement, or electric energy production and its direct injection into the net.
