The Department of Mechanical Engineering offers two modalities of master degrees: Master of Science (M.S.) in Mechanical Engineering and Master of Engineering (M.E.) in Mechanical Engineering. In each modality, two specializations are offered: Aerospace and Energy.

The Graduate Program of Master of Education with a specialty in Assessment and Effectiveness aspires to develop competent leaders in their profession, capable of designing and implementing assessment plans for learning outcomes and aspects concerning effectiveness. The curriculum equips the student with the knowledge and skills necessary to act as an evaluator and consultant in assessment processes related to the evaluation of educational programs.

The Master's Program in Education with a Specialty in Educational Leadership will train graduates with the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitudes that will allow them to: Exercise their functions as a transformative leader, in public and private educational organizations, effectively, ethically, and productively; promote through innovative instructional and managerial practices a school climate conducive to the learning of all constituents, promote the formation and strengthening of a learning community in constant development and the creation and maintenance of an organizational culture oriented to the service of the highest quality for all your customers. The Master of Science Degree in Biology offers two specializations: Molecular Biotechnology and Environmental and Ecological Sciences. The emphasis of these programs is to present an interdisciplinary curriculum focused on scientific reasoning to prepare students for work in the field of Biology dealing with the molecular aspects of biotechnology, ecology or the environmental sciences.

The Master’s Program in Electrical Engineering (M.E.) is designed to prepare students with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to perform as efficient and highly qualified professionals in the specializations of Power and Control Systems. Both specializations are focused on modeling, design and practical knowledge of systems.

The Master's Program in Business Administration with a specialty in Human Resources aspires to develop professionals with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for the management of human resources from a strategic perspective that includes the development, implementation, and administration of policies concerning the management of personnel in any type of organization.

The mission of the Graduate Program in Biomedical Sciences is to provide a rigorous and stimulating research and training environment for UCC students. Our students provide the intellectual resources needed to advance the research and educational goals of the institution and to provide a new generation of scientists. The faculty is committed to excellence in interdisciplinary research training for qualified candidates who will continue to advance the fundamental knowledge needed to conquer disease and promote health and improved quality of life for all people. The knowledge and skills acquired will enable the graduate to be successful in biomedical research conducted at universities, government, and private industry laboratories, as well as in education.
