Johns Hopkins' Advanced Academic Programs nine-course online or on-campus MA in Writing program reflects the school's international reputation for academic rigor and creative innovation. This workshop-centered, 3-year program offers a concentration in fiction or nonfiction and includes summer residency options abroad. Some graduates use the advanced writing skills they develop in journalism, teaching or corporate writing jobs. Others go on to write nonfiction, short stories, novels, and other works.
