In the Master’s Programme in Particle Physics and Astrophysical Sciences, you focus on gaining an extensive understanding of these phenomena. You will also acquire proficiency in the use of mathematical methods, IT tools and/or experimental equipment, as well as strong problem-solving and logical deduction skills.

Strongly increasing societal demand in the fields of Environment, Sustainable Development and Health, implies a synergy of advanced skills in Chemistry and Biology Sciences. In order to be able to effectively respond to this demand and to implement innovative solutions providing efficient answers to these requests, it is essential to perfectly understand the interaction of contaminants with living organisms and particularly their structures, properties, reactivities/activities in natural ecosystems.

The Bachelor’s Programme in Science and Engineering is a cross-disciplinary degree program that provides you with a solid grounding in several core fields of engineering and the ability to follow rapid technological developments and apply scientific methods. The major subjects available in the Natural Sciences and Mathematics track are Mathematics; Physics; Chemistry; Biomedical Engineering.

The Pharmaceutical Sciences study program puts stress especially on study of pharmaceutical disciplines as pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmaceutical analysis, pharmacology, natural drugs and drug forms, especially knowledge of pharmaceutical analysis and drug research. It is two years lasting follow-up master program. Specializations are not part of the study program.

The academic contents of the program are geared towards modern issues in mathematics and statistics, and towards the appliance of mathematics and statistics in technology and other natural sciences. The candidates will gain relevant skills within programming, data processing, analytical problem solving and quantitative analysis.

SFA’s Master of Science in Natural and Applied Science program offers four concentrations: chemistry, geology, mathematics and physics. Students pursuing a Master of Science in natural and applied science with an emphasis in chemistry have a nonthesis option, preparing them for a variety of careers in the field.

This two-year program is intended for foreign students and new immigrants who hold a first degree in natural/medical sciences and wish to continue their studies as a researcher. It is given completely in English and classes are taken together with Israeli students. The program leads to an M.Sc. degree or, if extended, to a Ph.D.

This Biomedical Sciences (Life Sciences) MScR program provides an excellent grounding for a Ph.D. or another academic study in Biomedical Sciences. You will learn valuable research skills, biomedical laboratory techniques, and a wide range of other transferable skills that will give you an advantage for the rest of your career. You can also choose two themes that best suit your interests and career goals.

Molecular Sciences has in recent years emerged as a field somewhat broader than Chemistry, as its activities include methods and technologies which previously were linked to e.g. physics and biotechnology. Molecular Sciences includes the analysis of molecules at all levels, ranging from physical properties, through chemical reactivity, to interactions in larger assemblies, such as in a biological cell.

The Faculty of Natural and Agricultural Sciences is a diverse faculty with 13 departments that is supported by more than 20 centres and institutes. More than 5 000 students register in this faculty annually of which 70% are undergraduate and 30% postgraduate students.

The Master of Applied Genetics at the faculty of Natural Sciences and Medicine will train students to an international standard, incorporating current biomolecular technology. Quite simply, the use of biotechnology, in particular, molecular genetics applications, is now ubiquitous in commerce and research.

The Master’s degree in Geophysics for Natural Risks and Resources has the main goal of educating professionals and researchers capable of approaching in a multi-disciplinary manner the theory and applications of physical methodologies for the exploration and characterization of the subsoil. This exploration can take place ad different spatial scales, from meters to tens and hundreds of kilometers, with aims spanning a large number of application and theoretical areas where the knowledge of soil and subsoil is crucial. Both computational and field oriented specializations are foreseen.
