4 Online Music Masters Degree Programs

This MA degree in Music introduces you to the diverse topics and methods of music research and equips you with the critical skills to pursue your own research interests in music. You will develop your ability to analyse and interpret musical sources and practices, to understand and apply theories to develop your own arguments, and to communicate effectively to a variety of different audiences.

The Master of Arts in Music degree is intended to allow talented musicians who have completed an undergraduate degree in music to pursue intensive graduate studies in performance. The Master of Arts in Music degree is offered with applied concentrations in piano, organ, voice, contemporary pop music, orchestral instruments, composition, conducting, church music, and contemporary Christian music.

The curriculum of this degree requires 49 hours and includes the courses listed below. Students must have a cumulative grade point average of “B” or above in all graduate music courses in order to graduate.
