13 Music Technology Masters Degree Programs

The MA in Creative Music Technologies degree is a skills conversion programme. The programme is aimed at graduates with musical abilities, who would like to explore musical applications of technology. The programme accepts graduates from any primary degree.

As a master’s student, you will complete advanced studies and specialize your interest to pursue a career for example as a sound engineer, producer, venue amplification professional, developer of music technology instruments and applications, composer of film, game, or electroacoustic music, or as a sound artist.

Four-year BMus degree or BAHons in Music Technology or relevant qualification

Southern Utah University’s Master of Music in Music Technology degree is a 30-credit hour program designed to prepare graduates to work in the music profession - delivered entirely online. Students enroll in core courses in music technology and then choose a study track – Performance Technology or Studio Technology. Students interact with a faculty of working music professionals and peers and learn to use the tools that will maximize reach as a musician.
