The MSc in Economics and Policy Analysis at UL is specifically designed to equip students with the practical skills required for a career in economics. The MSc in Digital Policy is designed to prepare graduates for careers in evaluating, implementing, and studying core topical, theoretical, and methodological issues that arise in digital policy today. The course will take a multi-disciplinary approach to investigate the institutional and public policy dimensions of the prevalence of digital technology, as well as the underlying social conditions (economic, political, and cultural) and public/private sector contexts that give rise to such technologies and their governance.

The course aims to provide participants with the skills, knowledge and experience that are needed to pursue successful careers in managing environmental resources sustainably; it intends to help develop government policy and economic recovery by producing top quality graduates who can contribute to a smart economy and hasten implementation of green technologies; given the pressure on and competition for limited resources, the course applies an evidence based approach to developing solutions for all system users; graduates become technically fluent in selected environmental science theory, policy development, implementation and best practice.

The LLM (General) is one of a suite of LLM programmes offered by the School of Law at NUI Galway. This LLM can be taken on a full-time basis over one year or part-time over two years. It is a taught programme designed to give students complete flexibility in their selection of modules and topic for their minor thesis.
