Master of Arts Journalism & Public Affairs. The AU School of Communication MA in Journalism and Public Affairs prepares you for a career as a news and information professional. You'll focus your program studies in one of three areas: Investigative Journalism, Broadcast Journalism, or International Journalism.

The MA in Journalism offers a unique combination of practical skills and academic reflection with the aim to develop a multimedia mindset. We provide hands-on training in small groups, in state-of-the-art newsroom facilities. Students have access to professional resources for their news productions, such as an exclusive newsroom with an instruction area, powerful workstations, radio and television studio, edit rooms, and recording equipment. The program has an excellent relationship with employers and internship providers. The department is proud of its longstanding collaboration with Dutch public broadcaster NOS in both education and academic research and has affiliated with universities in Sheffield and Cardiff (UK).

The Master's in Journalism and Multimedia Communication: New Trends in Production, Management and Dissemination of Knowledge offers comprehensive training in the latest trends in journalism and digital communication.

Boston University's Master of Science in Journalism is a three-semester program designed to prepare you to be a skilled storyteller in the digital age. The Master in Journalism BCN NY from the University of Barcelona (Faculty of Philology and Communication) offers a global, practical and professional journalistic dimension, guaranteed by a teaching team highly linked to the most important media and with the guarantee of the School of Journalism at Columbia University in New York, a leader in the journalistic field.

The Master of Journalism (MJ) course is a one-year full-time or a two-year part-time course. Students learn the core skills of journalism—reporting and writing, television and video production, media law and ethics, and new media. This pathway on the MA Global Journalism prepares students to tell high impact world-changing stories using data. It is delivered in partnership with the Institute for Journalism and Social Change, led by Claire Provost (former data journalist for the Guardian and head of global investigations for Open Democracy).
