Graduate Program in Japanese Literature aims to enrich and develop Onomichi literature and art history and to foster people who willfully contribute to society. This program focuses on the following: (1) Japanese ways of consideration and comprehensiveness of language culture This program explores the origin of Japanese literature / culture that has created the characteristics of the Japanese language. (2) Restoration of communication with human beings, history, environment, and nature Onomichi has a traditional art culture consisting of beautiful nature and enriched historical environment. Essential research and investigation of Japanese literature and culture could be an important starting point to promote precise human nature and expressive sensitivity. (3) Realization of genuine internationalization High-level adults and/or vocational specialists with genuine global sense are prospective resources to contemporary society.

The graduate program of Economics, Management, and Information Science has three research branches, Economics, Management, and Information Science, to provide high-level research and education applying to the undergraduate program. At the same time, this program provides education along with the development of each branch and the needs of the local economy. The Graduate Program in Economics, Management & Information Science focuses on fostering vocational specialists with rich specialized knowledge and practical experience. Needless to say, we accept ambitious students who wish to progress Ph.D. programs at other graduate schools to become professional researchers.

This program aims to create a fresh vision and expression in the diversity of cultural life and change in the social environment. To achieve this, both students and instructors make a continuous effort with self-study. Based on the motivation of each research office, each graduate student makes an annual curriculum plan under discussion with the supervisor. Mid-term, students have an opportunity to present their research and have instructions for further development. Students and their supervisors have opportunities for discussion to deepen the contents of the study.
